Parts of the War Rooms are not pushchair friendly due to the restricted space. For the duration of your visit, you can leave your pushchair in the lobby area.

FREE Audioguides
Whether you have an hour or the whole day, the audio guide helps you make the most of your visit. The audio guide is available in 10 languages – English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, Dutch, Maltese, Danish, Chinese and Japanese.

Photography and Filming
Visitors are welcome to take photographs within most areas of Fort Rinella. In the galleries, flash photography is not permitted.

Commercial Photography
Requests for commercial photography, filming and sketching should be made in advance by sending an email to info@wirtartna.org or by calling us on +356 21800992.

Photographic Equipment
Equipment such as tripods and selfie sticks may not be used inside the Fort unless arrangements have been made in advance.

Health and Safety advice

Fort Rinella is a scheduled monument with different surfaces and levels. There are steps of varying widths and height. Please choose footwear that is comfortable and appropriate for the conditions.

Light levels can be low in some places, so please allow sufficient time for your eyes to adjust, particularly when using stairs.

Look out for our safety signs and follow the advice given to avoid spoiling your day.
